1. Shave the hair
You should shave your hair at home the day before if your skin is sensitive and dry. If you cannot shave by yourself, our beautician will shave when you come for the treatment.
If your skin is dry, we will put nourishing lotion on your skin and wait for some minutes before moving to step 2. Other spas don’t care if your skin is dry or not. However, applying the lotion right before the treatment may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
2. Proceed the laser hair removal treatment
Adjust energy to suit the skin and hair, starting from low to higher energy.
Apply ultrasonic gel to help the light penetrate better into the hair follicle.
Shoot the light 2-5 times on the treated area (depending on the area).
3. Cleanse skin, apply lotion to soothe skin and prevent ingrown hairs
Cleanse the gel, apply the after-treatment lotion.
This specific lotion has special functions such as antibacterial, calming and nourishing. It also helps to prevent the ingrown hair if you continue to use it at home for at least 7-10 days after the treatment.
What you should/should not do after the treatment?
- It’s better you use cool water for the first 1-2 days after the laser treatment
- Do not go to the sauna within 2 days
- Don’t go swimming within 5-7 days. The swimming pool water contains a lot of chlorine, which is not good for the skin
- Do not use any exfoliator the genital area within 5-7 days
